Dress to the nines, grab your McMenamins Passport and get ready to trip the light fantastic at our Passport Prom! Whether you're on your 12th Passport or are just getting started, all Passport holders are invited to join us on the floating dance floor for a night of dancing and fun, with cocktail specials & punch, photo booth and royal court crowning ceremony. DJ Sonny Phono starts off the evening with party tunes, and The Throwbacks kick it into high gear with rock, pop and dance faves.
Both the Crystal Ballroom and Lola's Room location stamps will be available during the prom. And of course, it wouldn't be a Passport Prom without a just-for-fun stamp!
The Throwbacks are a 5-piece cover band that plays something for everybody. Covering bands such as Fleetwood Mac, Queen, and Tom Petty, their setlists blend classic rock favorites with modern pop and dance hits. Whether it's for a lively crowd or intimate event, the band will mix plenty of nostalgia into every show.
Sonny Phono is a Portland based DJ with roots in San Diego whose skills were forged over 20 years in San Francisco. Since relocating to Portland in 2020, he has made his new home a loving one. He is a co-resident at the long running Motown On Mondays at Sugar Hill, hosts a Golden Era Hip Hop night at The Trough both in Southeast. You can also find him playing sporadically at Soho House Portland and on the concourse inside the Moda Center before Trail Blazers games. Most recently he's accepted the position of Music Supervisor and Official DJ for the Hillsboro Hops. Friendly, funky and fresh, he's a versatile party rocker in any setting.
