Eona Skelton grew up in West Berkeley, California, making art and going to punk rock shows. In 1991, she followed the music to Portland where she’s been ever since.
"In 2000, I was hired to work at McMenamins Kennedy School in Portland, which was unlike anywhere else I had seen. At Kennedy, I walked past history in the form of original artwork and experienced a unique take on preserving that history.
I worked beside amazing people and forged loyal friendships that last to this day. I met my husband, made chalk murals, and walked past rooms filled with live music and cozy fireplaces."
