In her career as a public artist, Mary Mann has produced grant-funded large-scale murals all over Tacoma, Washington. She has painted children’s museum exhibits, city buses, trade showrooms and theater sets. As a teaching artist, she has worked with high school students from the Science and Math Institute for over 14 years. Her love of drawing and painting is ongoing and contributing to the artwork in the McMenamins Elks Temple has been a highlight. Mary enjoys collaborating with other artists and is dedicated to public art and education. Currently, her studio practice is focused on local landscapes and sea life. She finds inspiration in science and nature.
